Is it safe to hit off a pitching machine in an indoor cage?

Indoor cages are enclosed with netting on all sides plus an L-screen or guard protecting the pitching-machine side, which makes them a controlled setup for machine-fed swings. Standard precautions still apply: wear a helmet, stay behind the safety line, and never enter while the machine is loaded.
