Walk-up tokens and a booked hour are two different things, and a map listing shows neither. Places here rent the cage itself — by the half-hour or hour, for a player, a coach or a whole team. Call ahead in spring: from February through May the after-school slots go first, and a cage that looks free online may already be held for a travel team.

How much does it cost to rent a batting cage?

Commonly $30-60 an hour for a single cage, less at off-peak times and for members. Machine time is sometimes billed separately, and coin- or token-operated cages run a few dollars for a round of pitches instead of an hourly rate.
